Inspired by the unique Japanese custom of taking shoes off indoors, Yuima Nakazato paired a flat circle with a fastener to transform into a boot. This design won the ITS #8 YKK Award. At the following Paris Fashion Week, the design was shown at an exhibition and gathered much attention.
